The Detroit Red Wings are getting serious about NHL 17.
The Detroit Red Wings are one of the youngest teams in the NHL Coins, yet they are a very tight knit bunch. These guys hang out together, eat together, travel together and battle it out on the ice for one another. Well that is until they square off against each other in an all-out war of NHL 17 Coins.
Don’t even think of messing with Luke Glendening, Riley Sheahan, Justin Abdelkader or Dylan Larkin when they have their focus on the popular EA Sports version of one of the coolest hockey games you can play nowadays.
Things could get ugly!
Okay, not really ugly. More like a friendly battle with some serious bragging rights on the line.
In their latest battle, Luke Glendening and Riley Sheahan teamed up to take on Justin Abdelkader and Dylan Larkin and all of the hard hitting action was posted to the team’s YouTube channel on Thursday. While all of these guys are incredible when they are on the ice, this game was about trash talking and handling a controller instead of hockey stick. The difference of performing in the locker room instead of on the ice didn’t stop Team Glendening, as they were confident from the start.
The only thing we’re hoping is that there’s a mercy rule for the other team in this game,” he said. “What’s going on with you guys,” asks Sheahan pointedly after going up 3-0.
Larkin and Abdelkader tried to rally late, however in the end they fell short 4-3.
